As a Business Development Manager, you will identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients and work closely with our technical teams to tailor solutions that meet specific weather-related challenges.
Job Responsibilities
- Represent WeatherX in the renewable & agriculture fairs in Germany in this summer, engaging attendees and effectively promoting our advanced meteorological solutions.
- Deliver clear and persuasive sales pitches, demonstrating the benefits of our products tailored specifically for the agriculture industry.
- Utilize excellent interpersonal skills to network with fair attendees, generate leads, and gather actionable market insights.
- Clearly explain complex product details, ensuring potential clients understand how they can benefit from our offerings.
- Collect and respond to feedback, utilizing empathy and professionalism to refine our services and improve customer satisfaction.
- Manage the exhibition space with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring a professional and inviting presentation of our brand.
- Meet or exceed sales targets, demonstrating a target-driven approach while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in German and English with strong verbal communication skills.
- Proven sales track record, especially in complex product / SaaS environments.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new information or challenges.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries and objections professionally.
- Interest and/or background in meteorology or climate science, particularly as it applies to energy, reinsurance, and agriculture, is highly advantageous.
Employment Type:
- This is a project-based, contract position available starting from May, specifically timed to align with the fairs' preparations and execution. Candidates located in Germany are highly preferred. Based on performance and mutual interest, there is potential for this role to evolve into a long-term position.
